Team 7 + Team 8: Introductions
Naruto: Hey Hinata! You haven’t met this guy yet, right? This guy is Sasuke!
Sasuke:. … ?
Hinata: Eh? N-no, I haven’t talked to him y-yet.
Sakura: Now that you mention it, you guys really haven’t spoken to each other despite being part of the well-known clans in Konoha.
Kiba: Idiots, Hinata isn’t interested in that guy.
Shino: I wonder if it’s going to rain today…
whenever someone declares that itachi is their favourite character
or screams itachi’s name over and over in an introduction to why they love the series
i always get this uneasy feeling in the bottom of my stomach, even though itachi is one of my favourite characters too
like
“please don’t be one of those that worship and idealise itachi and put him on a pedestal and think he’s perfect and saintly and flawless and did no wrong/can do no wrong”

“Yes, I love you too, Itachi-nii…Although you’re messing up my hair.”
Sasuke gave a sigh, relieved that his brother was no longer acting peculiar towards him.
“Aa,” he said, the mildest tinge of amusement in his tone as he continued with the small gesture.
“Is your hair really that important to you? I daresay it would only take a moment to fix.”
A soft chuckle, and one last ruffle before he finally gave the boy a bit of a reprieve, hand withdrawing.
“There we go.”
“Are we ready to leave now?”
